and finally

"Fantastic food. Good to find somewhere so close to home with a city coolness about it" Andy Lawrence, Toft Monks

I made it my project to be fully hands on with the development of this website, to ensure that the message is as honest as possible. This has meant learning new skills, with food photography being the greatest challenge. All the shots are natural and without studio ‘tricks of the trade’. Text, photography and design is entirely in-house. Thanks goes to Andrew Florides for photographic consultancy, infotex for the build, and all our staff and Carmela for their patience. If you found some of our headings a little pretentious, quite frankly so did we. But we went with them anyway.

The menus

All elements of our dishes are freshly prepared, using whenever possible local fruits, vegetables and herbs, much of which is grown organically in the Tower House gardens, opposite the Swan House. Meats are free range and whenever possible, from Halesworth, Suffolk. Our alternative bar menu, is available at all times other than Saturday evening and Sunday lunch.

Times of opening

We open at 11am (noon Sunday) until 11pm, and can stay open until 1am for special occasions. Lunch is served between noon and 2.15pm and dinner between 6.45pm and 9.30pm. On Sunday we serve a special lunch from 12 noon until 5pm, after which the kitchen closes for the day. Morning coffee and afternoon tea is served between 11am and noon, and 3pm and 5.30m.
