The River Waveney which passes 100 metres from Swan House, forms the border between Norfolk and Suffolk (Suffolk to left of picture), and represents the beginning of the 'Norfolk Broads'.

 

 

 

                   

Beccles, which years ago had a sizeable local fishing industry, now attracts many sailing visitors to it's harbour, during the summer months.
